Baggage Handling

CEMESA AMARRES BARCELONA S.A., was founded in 1970 as Consignaciones, Expediciones y Manipulaciones de Equipajes S.A.

It was initially dedicated to providing luggage services for passenger ships and cruise ships, basically Ybarra, Italia de Navegación and Trasatlántica Española, which were in operation in those years.

In reference to passenger services, since the foundation of CEMESA we have been involved in most of these services in different ports, among them the Port of Barcelona, having helped the Port of Barcelona to have the prestige and respect it has today in this sector.

Our services have received the congratulations of all the parties involved in the process: Terminal Managers, Shipping Companies, Consignees, Port Authority and the users themselves.

Part of baggage handling also includes the handling of passenger vehicles. The service of loading and unloading of vehicles under the passenger regime includes the control and organization, as well as the correct identification and customs documentation of these vehicles.

In case of any inconvenience, our job is to use all our available means to comply with the legal and regulated transportation of vehicles.
